There's a lot of pictures on this page so please be patient! Every year our 7th and 8th graders raise money for their annual week-long trip to someplace fantastic! Most students are able to raise enough money to pay for the entire trip and no one has ever missed out due to funding. On each of these trips the students not only have the time of their life but they learn many new things about nature, geology, animals, plants, friendships, creation, responsibility, and teamwork. Some of the past destinations have including:
Catalina Island (Avalon)This trip starts with vehicles full of excited students on their way to southern California. Then a beautiful boat ride takes them all to the island where they spend time learning about the ocean and everything associated with it. Everyone involved claims that the class always comes back with a fresh team spirit and a renewed spirituality. Activities included:
Utah TripThe Utah trip is probably one of the fullest adventures the junior high class has experienced. Activities included:
Albion Marine StationAlbion is a beautiful marine station near Fort Bragg, California. It is an excellent place to learn about the wonders in this world and under the ocean. Activities at Albion included:
