Nancy Nancy is a native Sacramentan, living in the Sacramento and Placerville areas for all but 8 years of her life. Nancy is the third sibling in a family of five. She has one sister and three brothers. Though Nancy's family was conservative and her parents had high standards, religion did not play a role in the family until she was 11 years old.

Nancy attended public school through junior high. When she was in the 8th grade it was through Voice of Prophecy Bible correspondence lessons the she learned of Jesus' Gift of Life. She, her sister, and one brother were baptized in 1972. It was a short time later that Nancy's youngest brother was born, her parents returned to the church, and her other brother was baptized. The entire family happily attended church and grew closer together and closer to the Lord.

Nancy enrolled at Sacramento Union Academy as a freshman. It was at SUA that Nancy met her husband-to-be Mick Fandrich. Mick and his family had moved to the Sacramento area in 1974, looking to leave the smog and earthquakes behind. Mick and Nancy graduated from SUA in 1976, engaged to be married. After attending Pacific Union College for a year, and serving as a student missionary for a semester at Holbrook Indian Mission School, Nancy was married to Mick.

One of Nancy's early goals in life was to have a family. Not just a family, but a happy family that could be a witness to others. In June of 1978 Mick and Nancy moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where Mick studied electrical engineering. In March of 1980 they were blessed with the arrival of their first daughter, Sarah. Nancy quit work to be at home with Sarah, and Mick joined Intel Corporation. Three years later their second daughter, Rebekah, arrived. The family kept busy with various church related activities.

The family lived in Arizona for 8 years before returning to Placerville, California, when Mick transferred to the Memory Components Division of Intel at the Folsom facility in 1986. Sarah and Rebekah attended both El Dorado Junior Academy and Sacramento Adventist Academy. Nancy also substituted at both schools. Sarah graduated with a B.A. in Business Management, from Pacific Union College and is currently working for Maranatha Volunteers International. Rebekah attends Walla Walla College in Washington State and is a pre-dental student majoring in art. Mick continues to work at Intel, and spends his leisure time playing various instruments in two acoustic bands.

While the girls were busy with school and growing up, Nancy kept busy with their schedules and activities and attended college part-time. In 1993 Nancy completed her A.S. in Electronics Technology. Nancy joined Intel in 1995, working as a Graphics Designer on the Pentium III Processor. She soon realized, however, that her real passion was being with children and teaching. After almost two years with Intel, she "retired" so that she could return to college full time. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 1999, and completed her teaching credential in 2000. Since graduating, Nancy has been teaching at Orangevale SDA School. She counts it a privilege to be a part of such a wonderful Christian school.
