Home > Handbook > Parental Involvement By enrolling a child or children, parents are
making a commitment to helping their child(ren) and the school be successful.
The school requires an average of two hours per month, September-May (or a total
of 18 hours per year) of parental help to the school from each family. The Home and School Association,
in conjunction with the teachers and administration, organizes and monitors this
parental commitment. At the end of the school year, families who do not have
their 18 hours fulfilled will be billed for their unfulfilled time at the rate
of $10.00 per hour. Parents are encouraged to fill out the time commitment
voucher form sent each month and return it to the school office. The deadline
for fulfilling and submitting parental involvement hours is June 22, 2007. |
