Catalina Education Trip 2011

Catalina Island
Education Trip
May 1-6, 2011

Six days in God's outdoor classroom made a lasting impression in the lives of our 7th & 8th graders, who experienced firsthand the fascinating colors, intriguing designs, awesome beauty, and amazing sights of the wonders of our Creator.

Wonderful Things Happen When We Spend Time with God in Nature
"Without words, I was staring in awe ...
In an instant a whole new world of God's marvelous creations was opened up to me."

"Getting to know God without all the distractions
and being in the middle of His creations is a life-changing experience for the better."

Our whole group at Parson's Beach

Escorted by 200 dolphins on our boat ride back from Catalina Island

We discovered a Giant Spined Sea Star, a Sea Hare, hundreds of bright orange Girabaldi, a school of about 30 Senoritas, jellies, a Spanish Shawl Nudibranch, an octopus and so much more.

Night kayaking proved to be the favorite event of many, especially experiencing the bioluminescence.
